TEACH YOUR SELF ENGLISH


PRESENT PERFECT
 The simple perfect tense expresses actions or events which occurred after a short time or period.
It is used to express actions or events which have been completed already.
Form of present perfect tense:
Affirmative form
 
Examples:
Hassan has written a letter to his friend.
They have woven baskets near the thick forest
Negative form
Hassan has not written a letter to his friend.
They have not swept the floor nicely
Samira has not swept the floor nicely.

 Interrogative form

Examples:
Has Hassan written a letter to his friend?
Have they paid him  the money?
 PRESENT PERFECT CONTINUOUS 
 
It is used to expresses actions or events which have been occurring for sometime and still taking place.
EXAMPLES:
vAffirmative form
Ramadhan has been writing a letter to his father.
Thuwaiba has been sweeping the flow nicely
